Hind Leg Weakness Formula Strikes Again

He just got on the Hind Leg Weakness formula post spinal surgery and it is working great already after only one week. He also has low thyroid and is on thyrod medications twice/day for this condition. Is there a Chinese herbal for this condition? Low throid he has comes with skin hot spots which get flakey and crusty and fall off when he scratches them. When this is bad it can get all over him and fur patches fall out. Thyroid meds and an antifungal seem to help keep it abay. Thanks! Nansy

This is a list according to the notions of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). There are two aspects to understanding the TCM kidney system, one is kidney yin and one is kidney yang.

To under stand this system, lets use an a car as the analogy:

The fluids of the car, which include liquids such as oil, break fluid, windshield fluids, transmission fluids....are the yin aspect of the car's body.

The yang aspect of this car are the breaks, the steering wheel, the chassis, the transmission, etc...This is the actual functional aspect of the car...the working part's if you will.

Without the necessary fluids and liquids, the car will burn up and breakdown. What happens when our car lacks these necessary liquids? The answer; It over heats....the heating up of the engine because of the lack of fluids is called YIN DEFICIENCY. Yin deficiency is heat.

If the car begins not not properly function, and it begins to break down, the car is then becoming YANG DEFICIENT. Yang is the functional aspect of our car...and because it can't run....Yang deficiency is cold.

First step is to determine if you or your pet is warm or cold. Does your dog pant most of the time? Or does the furry friend want to snuggle under the covers most of the time?

If your dog seems hot; this is YIN deficiency, conversly if your dog (or you) is cold, this is Yang deficiency (strictly dealing with the kidney system).

Here is a list of beneficial foods for both you and your dog for kidney yang. I will post kidney yin tomorrow. Keep in mind that dogs are meat eaters, so use this list with common sense for a dog. I want to post this list to benefit both you and your dog!

Happy New Year!! I hope that all of you and yours had wonderful holidays and that all is well with you. It has been a long time since we’ve spoken – all of my babies are doing so well!!! Angus, my 14 ½ year old Maltese, had been licking at his groin area a lot, the tip of his “pinkie” was out and looked uncomfortable – I found a couple of long hairs in his sheath and removed them and have been lubricating it which helped a bit - I decided to give him the Stonezyme that I had purchased for Banjo a while back - and in five days he is perfect!! Herbal Success For Eliminating Heartworms...YAY!!

I have been using your heartworm formula along with other things and my dog has received a negative heartworm test result! I am seeing she still needs some help. Raja the Huskey Acting Young Again!

Just wanted to give you an update on Raja.

She has only been on the herbs I ordered a short time, but I’ve already noticed a difference. Recently she went wild with a huge burst of energy like she had when she was younger – quite expected for a Husky. I had to find a spot to let her run free for a little bit to get that energy out. The only thing different are the herbs – Dissolve, Thyro, and Garlic for fleas. She loves the garlic tablets and Thyro. She chews them up like they are treats. I’m surprised by that. Chicken Liver & Sesame Seed Delight

This is a home cooked recipe for pets and people. You will see Mark eating the family meal (the last picture).
The traditional Chinese medicine principle of this meal; Nourish Liver blood, and tonify the Kidneys!

Total ingredients fed 4 dogs that total 125 lbs all together, with one meal left over. I let my dogs eat until they are full. My dogs do not have any weight problems. I will also feed them a bit of grain free kibble if they are hungry in the morning. They let me know if they need food.

Ingredients:

4 containers of chicken livers
3 tablespoons of sesame seeds
3 cups of stock ( I used veal stock, but any type will work, including plain water)
2 tablespoons of sesame seed oil (I sauteed the livers in this oil).

Bring to a boil, and then simmer for 30 minutes...and serve. Now, if your going to use the seeds and the oil, your dog or you does not need fish oils. You can alternate different oils by seasons, or by meal. In this case, for the day, no other supplements needed. There are essential fatty acids in the liver!! This is how nutrition is meant to be eaten..

Great Hind Leg Weakness Outcome Using Chinese Herbs!

Update on Mars: On day one Mar's looked to be in shock somewhat while at the vets, gums and ears very pallid even the white coat vet noticed that, he had no reflex response in left hind leg, and very little response in right hind leg, he could not stand or even sit by himself, just collapsing to the floor, he had a fever of 104.3F, urine was a dark brown and very strong smelling, overall he looked to be on his last stand, vet could not straighten his legs etc, vet gave Rimadyl and Amoxi' at my request, as I wanted to make sure the infection was gone, this was the first time in 13years Mars had any pharmaceuticals, since I knew some of this was coming from cystitus/UTI/poss' renal infection....he was really messed up and for the first time in his life. Mars is a 13 y.o. Performance American Bulldog, never been sick or injured, and if he was 100% right now could easily pull you with his pulling harness for miles, just trotting happily around.

Well after 4 days of solid administration of your custom Hind Leg Weakness Formula, Empirical Anagesic, and Cat's Claw/Devil's Claw Formula, as well as being this was so severe I added a couple things to create a full on Cosmic Heath Recovery Blitzkrieg, and added, a Procaine supplement called Vital Pet Plus , an improved formulation over Ana Aslan original GH3 formula (Awesome and safe highly researched stuff!), also have added a mild Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM/HA/TMG/Antioxidant formula called Animal Naturals K9 Joint Strong , just to provide some of the raw materials for connective tissue regeneration, thinking it might help the herbs work better making sure all nutrients needed are there.

I am taking it slow with him, massaging him, and just now starting to get him up and out on his feet as therapy, he even wanted to climb the first set of stairs we have to walk up, so I let him do it very slowly, and he made it! A little wobbly but, from where we where a little less then a week ago, again, this is amazing!

Thank you again so much for your help, these herbs, are the center piece of his recovery, they work with uncanny efficacy, and are indispensable to bring the balance of forces back into alignment, and if anyone has a severe case like ours, where the pet is unable to walk and has the Wei's syndrome etc...I think adding the Procaine formula is a great adjunct, much research there to back that up, the herbs and Vital Pet + have created a one two punch, like nobodies business....Thank you!!

What questions about Chinese herbs can we answer for you?	I do not have a question, but I want to let you know that the Urinary Free the Flow Formula is amazing! Two years ago, my dog, Chipper had surgery for calcium oxillate bladder stones. The vet said they were the hardest to treat and would pobably be back in 3 years and require another surgery. 7/20/2011,Member of pawhealer & family,if u will.As to my knowledge when u ask 4 help w/ur pet child, literly at their mercy after all vet exams, multiple vets,& feel so still not sure & answerless to all those peps.& sme1 does come along & help w/simple herbs,, herbs? Thanks From Smiley...No More Accidental Peeing!

Good morning:

I am very busy, what with a job transfer and the accompanying move. However, I had to stop for a minute to write and thank you for the wonderful products you offer!

My poor Smiley appeared to be on his last leg....as I began looking at new houses, I wondered if I should plan on him joining me, or if I would be putting him... down first.

His health had taken a serious turn for the worse. I was told a year ago that his heart was bad, but at the beginning of March, Smiley started loosing control of his bladder during the day when I was at work. The vet seems to think he was having strokes, based on the unusual patterns left on the carpet. I just knew he seemed uncomfortable and wasn't himself.

I'm not a big proponent of drugs and other medical interventions (for people, much less animals), so I began looking for holistic health care options for my pet.

My Higher Power led me to your site, and I purchased Mind Over Bladder and Heart Tonic.Both bottles arrived on Monday, March 21st. I gave Smiley a dose then. He was due to get another dose the next morning (2 times per day), but I was out of town on business and didn't want to trouble my dog sitter with giving him the powders on his food. When I got home on Tuesday evening, I cleaned up his piddle, and gave him another dose of the herbal solution. On Wednesday morning I gave him his third dose. On Wednesday evening, when I arrived back home....THERE WAS NO PUDDLE on the floor! For the first time in about 6 weeks, and after just 3 doses, Smiley didn't soil the floor!! It may have been my imagination, but he really seemed more spry and happy! He was so cuddly and lovable that evening....it's almost as if he wanted to thank me for making him feel better.

The day Junior stopped coughing was the one of the most happiest days of my life.

Junior is an eight year old Yorkshire Terrier who was very healthy up until he started coughing which grew more severe very quickly. He saw multiple veterinarians during this period but they didn't help him. The cough and the vomiting of saliva got so severe that he ended up in an emergency clinic. He was diagnosed with a collapsing trachea and at that point I didn't believe he would make it. The vets could not figure out what triggered Junior's cough. They kept him in an oxygen cage for 48 hours with a lot of injections of different medications. After a lot of nervous hours of waiting miraculously the trachea opened and he was released home on medication. Junior was very weak, still coughing and the medication just made him very drowsy and didn't really help him and I began to lose hope. Until, in my final moment of desperation I found Pawhealer. After reading all the other people's stories I realized how many dogs you have helped and said to myself, "This has to help my Junior". After starting " Empirical Qi Support" he was coughing less everyday I saw improvement and gained hope for a full recovery. After two weeks the cough vanished. Wary Max.....Now Happy Maximus.....

Here are a couple of photos. In the seashell, Pinky is the chihuahua with Max. The other photo was when Maximus didn't feel that well.

Max was diagnosed with tracheal prolapse. He's a 10-year-old Yorkie, and his breathing was labored and loud, exacerbated by the weather here in Florida. Even a small walk left him winded.

Dealing with the ordinary vetinary establishment left me feeling angry and powerless. It seemed as if my only option was an iffy surgery for $6200.00!!!

So I started to do a little research and came up with PawHealer. While I have never had the opportunity to endorse anything, this time I really must compliment the company. Compassionate and excited about what they do, in the three months since Max has been on their regime he seems to have bounded back (yes!) from the barely breathing. This is a great story. Hind leg weakness is really tough to deal with at all levels. Tammy tells her story, and what I really appreciated, is that she understood the idea of "deficiency". In other words, once an external invasion, or internal excess or deficiency, takes it toll..she is right. Things are just not the same..BUT, that does not mean its not worth getting back 75%!!!

Our culture is so "magic bullet" oriented. People will throw the baby out with the bath water if they feel there is no cure...Well, Niko is a good example of why we keep trying to always find that key....

Last October my Niko, part Bernese Mountain and Collie, fell in our back yard while playing and damaged 3 of his disc in his back. When we brought him to the vet they told us he would never walk again. All four of his legs stopped working and he wasn't able to pee on his own. Because he was 12 years old he had a good long life the best thing to do for him and for us was to put him down. The doctors said due to Niko's size he was going to be hard to move and care for. It has been one week today (this morning at 9:30am) that Sweetie has been been on her heart health herbs. thanks for the confirmation on the syringe for her food. She had chicken heart stroganoff yesterday afternoon and (I hate to say it) four sm. cans of cat food! She helped herself to the cat food. We are encouraged. A note to readers....Although this is a great story, I do not recommend that anyone stop any medications unless under the supervision of the Doc! First it is professional courtesy, second the doctor should always be monitoring the dog....especially with a heart condition. I strongly believe that western medicine and eastern medicine can be worked together, and neither has to be excluded. Herbs are simply an addition to the tool box, not meant to exclude medicine.

I received a call from a kennel owner....she was a very distressed breeder of labs. Wileys Story; A Blind Dog Finding His Way!

Wiley's Story:

This is Wiley, my 16 year old Silky Terrier. Back in March 2009, when Wiley was almost 15, blood tests and ultrasound revealed several health issues, including tumors in his organs, and I was told that he may only have a couple of months. But after a change in diet and medication, he seemed to be doing just fine. Then in November 2009, he got an eye infection which lead to an ulcer. Unfortunately, that was his good eye, as his other was already blinded by a cataract. Amazingly unfazed by blindness ( I think he thinks that everyone cannot see either), I searched the internet for information on how to help a blind dog. I found a website: http://angelvest.homestead.com/. This was awesome! As you can see from the pictures, it is a little 'vest" equipped with a hoop, that serves as a "blind man's cane". He now trucks around, fearlessly, using this hoop as his guide.

BUT, soon after, his veterinary opthamologist, began treating him for what she thought was glaucoma. The pressure behind his right eye was off the charts, and he was not responding to the powerful and expensive medications. With Wiley's history of tumors (inside and outside), the doctor believed he may have a tumor behind his eye, causing the pressure. I was told that the pressure was surely causing great pain and that surgery was the only alternative (no guarantees) This was not acceptable and I vowed not to put my sweet Wiley through any more stress and pain.

Wiley was not displaying any obvious signs of pain, except that he slept a lot and his energy was low, and he would sometimes not want to eat (normally he is a chow-hound). There had to be some kind of alternative, so I searched the internet once again. I found Paw Healers and I spoke to Mark regarding Wiley's tumors. A few days later I received the herbs and began giving Wiley the recommended dosage. Within days, Wiley just perked up. I don't know how else to describe it, but, he is his old self again. My spunky, tail-wagging, chow-hound was back!

Since he can't fake it, he must be feeling much better! He is "talking" a lot more now too. Barking just to say "hey, I'm here...yay!"

Yoga Girl - Lily Doing her Morning Stretches! - - - - Crystal and Stone Free!

This is Lily, our 9 yr. old beagle, practicing her Yoga after her morning walk. Lily was diagnosed with a severe bladder infection a year ago. An ultra sound revealed bladder stones. She had surgery to remove the stones, which proved to be "layered", in October. Because of her food allergies, she was put on 3 or 4 different prescription diets and was unable to tolerate any of them. Finally, I convinced the vet she should be back on her grain free kibble. But by February, the crystals were back in her urine. That's when I learned of Paw Healer. We put Lily on Stone Support formula about mid Feb. At first she didn't want to eat it at the recommended dose. So I cut it back to just a little mixed in her kibble with plain chicken broth. This worked much better, but she would still leave a little in the dish. When this happened, I would add some more broth and she would clean it right up. Slowly we increased the amount we were feeding her to the correct dose. And, by March 1 the crystals were gone!! She just had another urinalysis today and is still stone free and infection free.

Here we are two rescued retired racing Greyhounds.

Mitch came from a horrible race track in FL where he was very abused. He is our soulful, Zen boy and best watch dog in the world.

Mitch is having a bout with kidney problems. He will be 10 in October.

Kalouha came from a race track in Wisconsin where she was treated much better than Mitch had been. She is our happy go lucky girl who must always have a toy a.k.a. "baby" in her mouth.

I wanted to take this opportunity and talk about dogs and coughing...there are so many of them that do it now....And something that I try to educate people about is what I believe are to be the root problems.

1) FOOD!!!! There is no doubt in my mind that bagged processed food no matter how expensive causes digestive weakness as well as muscular skeletal weakness in dogs. Fresh food for living animals is the only way to go. The digestive is the maker of phlegm and the lungs are the holder of phlegm......

2) Over vaccinations...People...your dogs are just like you...they have an acquired immune system...which means that vaccinating them over and over causes harm....the new guidelines that says to re vaccinate every three years is the MINIMUM and they are finding that dogs have life long immunity to Distemper, Parvo, etc......once the body has been exposed or through actually contracting the virus or via immunization...the dog develops life long protection.

There is a great research group that is publishing the findings...Rabies Challenge Fund...

But people...dogs are not different than us...use Titers to check your dogs immunity...look on Jean Dobbs DMV webpage...its everywhere for you to read...she can help you with her lab to do the right thing for your dog...

STOP THE MADNESS....Use common sense...good food, and less invasion to you dogs natural immunity.

My 10 year old Chihuahua, Roxy, was having harrowing coughing fits for the third time in 4 years when I found Paw Healer. I didn't want to go the drug route again.

By using an inexpensive dropper from the drug store it took seconds to treat her. I used the same dropper with the syrup without any mess or fuss. The herbs worked within 24 hrs. Thank you for your request about Willie Wonka.... I requested that the vet recheck his heartworm, they stated there is no # that they go by to let me know the level of his infestation. But on a HIGH note... I have had Willie since January of this year, then he was not excitable, no bouncing, no happy look in his eyes, and now he has so much energy I can't keep up with him, he is bouncing all over the house, jumping up and down, he looks healthier and happier than we have ever seen him. The Progress Of Patches ....

We received this yesterday from Hal and Miss. Patches...they are regulars on the Pawhealer site. One of the things I would like to underscore with this post...IS NUTRITION....I strongly suggest over and over that people get their dogs completely off bagged food...I use to think that just going grain free was enough....its not in my opinion any longer...we have go to go even further with our dog's nutrition.

I think because of the way that dog food is processed...it really does seem to cause alot of problems. In my world it is the accumulation of Phlegm/Damp which then results in chronic cough for the smaller dogs and Lipomas for the bigger dogs.

I think the best way to approach any condition that is chronic...is to go on the elimination diet.....ONLY home cooked food of bones and meats which include organ meat. I say to most people just try it and see....then they ask raw or cooked.....I cook for my dogs...they don't like raw...but none the less..its fresh food...and if your sick....then there is nothing better than fresh food for a dog....

Attached is a pic of Miss Patches, my 13 'man' year old Yorkshire Terrier.
Patches has been taking your Stop Cough, Pettigreens and Cough Syrup since

I have been giving my 14.5lb Poochin your wonder Phlegm-Heat for his honking cough. He does have a heart condition and at first was treated for that. Then they thought it might be a trachea problem, but because of his heart could not do an xray. So they treatred with meds for that, but after 6 days , no change! After 3 days of using yours, he stopped coughing. We have our pet back !! It has been two weeks now and he is down to 2 capsules twice a day. How much should I continue to give him and how long? Toodles Doing So Much Better

my first time to order from your company and I can't tell you how
impressed I am that you actually followed up on my babies well being!

Now, to answer your question, Toodles is doing great! I have been
mixing the powder from the Empirical Hound capsule with the Hound
Honey Cough Syrup and using a liquid medicine dispenser and she
actually doesn't seem to mind the taste (and that is saying a lot for
my picky Pom)! Since I am gone all day for three days of the week,
she has been getting her medicine two times a day for the most part.
The coughing that we have been trying to conquer since Thanksgiving
(two months under the veterinarian's care and over $300.00 in meds and
clinic visits) is all but gone! We have gone from almost constant
coughing (especially bad at night) to one or two light instances a day
in just a couple of weeks.

I was so worried about her that I hesitated to leave her the Monday
before your order came on Wednesday - she had had the cough for so
long and it was so wracking that I was really afraid that she was
suffering permanent damage to her trachia and I also worried about the

Sorry this took so long. We had some medical emergencies in our family.

Dudley, a three year old Shitzu, recently became ill and was diagnosed with bladder stones. One was very large and was blocking his urethra. I would like to talk to you on the phone. But, first, I want to give you an update on the dog named Zachary. You have been treating him for the persistent sore paws. I have some good news and bad news.

You will remember that his right front paw has had an open sore since July 2008. His left front paw developed the same type of sore in about May 2009. The good news is that the sore on his right front paw is now completely gone with only some scar tissue visible. The sore on the left front paw is still there but appears to be under control. I wanted to let you know that on Wed Dec 2/09 I received the herbs.

On Friday Nov 28 @ 3 am Morgan the Lab was coughing so badly and lots of fluid came out, just clear fluid very bad smell. he coughed so much his body went rigid and his head went back, lost all control bowels and pee. I picked him up and comforted him and his body relaxed. After that his walking got very bad, slower, his hind right foot dragged on the top and he had trouble flipping it over. He had no control of bowels it just falls out while he walks. he requires more frequent pee breaks as his holding power is not there. He has very large lumps everywhere and under his chin the right side of his lower neck is swollen size of 3 tennis balls. Behind his right ear is where he has a lump (open sore roughly 1 1/2 inch in size). The Vet saw him on Monday Dec 1/09 said nothing they can do but make him comfortable till he passes. Morgan weighed in at 99 lbs to my surprise, he normally weighs 84 lbs and we have not changed his diet. He is feed a grain free diet and ground beef boiled. We also add Tripe.

Wed morning I started to give him 1 1/2 teaspoon of Dissolve in his food, no problem he loves to eat. As of this morning he has had 2 doses now.

Morgan squatted to do his business this morning something he has not done for over a year. He no longer drags is right leg, he still walks slow but you can tell he has no trouble with placement of his feet. He looks as though he is no longer bloated, I'm going to take him back to the VETs to weigh him cause I think there will be a noticeable drop back to normal. He is alert and his eyes have cleared a bit. He has energy to jump up on the couch. I am really surprised at how fast this Dissolve has started to work. I was rubbing his sides last night and was trying to find the lumps which before you could see, they have reduced in size.

Paco the Chihuahua on the other hand does not like the cough pills, he is feed Instinct can food with ground beef and there is no disguising it. He will not eat it. Can I mix the pills in a tiny bit of water and give it in a dropper and still be OK? Paco takes the hounds honey by dropper OK.

I changed up Griffins diet again, well not really changed just tweaked it a bit. I started feeding him Blue canned food with the herbs, they mix in alot better and he seems to like it he doesnt leave anything in his bowl anymore. Plus he hasnt had a siezure since the new tweak. A Happy Bladder Stone Dog!

Here is another customer that let us know how her dog was doing. As I mentioned on yesterdays blog, we are going to report ALL outcomes. So far so good, all positive.

Now as far as bladder/kidney stones...remember the results may vary, although I have to say that they seem mostly favorable. The formula really depends on the size of the bladder obstructions...For crystals, its a no brainier, and it works wonderfully.

The bigger the stones the longer it takes and also if they are too big, successes will depend on this factor.

None the less, we continue to gather outcomes, and soon we can put it into actual percentages!

I have had the FLU for 3 weeks and have been unable to use my herbs for more than a week. Regarding my dog, the herbs are wonderful. I go to a holistic vet and this product saved me from having another bladder stone surgery on my dog Chelsea. An x-ray was taken and her stones are gone. The first urinalysis indicated crystals and the second one indicated that she no longer has any crystals in her urine. I know give her a half a teaspoon mixed in organic pumpkin once a day in hopes of the crystals or stones to re occur. I still am amazed that these herbs worked!! Taffy's Coughing No More!

We are are excited because we have implemented what we call an "outcomes" system, and we are tracking every dog now and we will post the results as they come in...bad or good. Because unfortunately there are many sick dogs, and we don't get favorable results each and every time, but we sure do most of the time!

Hi Holly: I am very pleased to say that Taffy is doing great. She
received the formula's consistently for two weeks, than we reduced the
amount and gave it to her once a day, than every other day. She has now

Hope you are doing well. Holly, Congratulations on completing your Masters!....You are definitely meant to be here helping all of us human moms and dads with our beloved canine children.

His coughing has definitely diminished, some is still there, especially at night or when he changes positions laying down. His appetite is improving, especially since we are giving him the "grain free" food...both Homer and Westy (our other dog) really like this food, Westy is a picky eater, and she is eating the "new food", they don't even want to smell the JD prescription food they have had for the longest time.

I am just so thankful that I found you !....Homer has been on the herbs for 2 weeks this coming Saturday and already shows so much improvement!

As a matter of fact, I am also writing to ask what is next in his treatment. Today at lunch, he finished the herbs you sent me marked KIDNEY. He has about 3 more days for the herbs marked "COUGH" and about 4 to 5 days of the Honey Cough Syrup Heart you sent. Are we supposed to continue giving him these, or do we wait and finish what we have and then go from there depending how his cough is?

I tell you, he is so smart, I tried your suggestions to give him the herbs, but he quickly caught on to me, so right now I am giving it to him with the syringe, he doesn't really like it, but I know I am doing it to help him, so 3 times a day, he already knows what mom is up to.

Another Success Story On Stone Support

Here are some shots of Ginger (white and brown dog) and her shadow Honey (black and white poodle) I just got this camera so I do not know how to get the red or green out of their eyes just yet. When I get that figured out I will send better shots.

Ginger (white and brown Lhasa) is the one that had the calcium oxalates stones in her bladder removed 4 years ago. She had to go on special food and I had to try and get as much water in her as possible. I would have her urine checked every 6 months or less to watch the crystal production. Last year she was having a problem and after a sonogram the vet found small stones in her kidneys. So I tried to increase her water intake even more. In June all three of my girls and even me had Lymes. Fun fun. I do not know what told me to do this, but I had a feeling something was going on and had her urine tested again. The vet called and said that she had a small trace of blood. Fearful of the stones coming back, I did some research on the internet and completed the questionnaire on your website.

I then ordered what you suggested and followed your instructions as best I could. I was quite an adjustment for both myself and Ginger but in the 2 months she has been on the Stone Support she has become more active and her appetite is up. She drinks more water and has to go out more. Just to see how well it was working I had her urine tested again 2 weeks ago. Guess what? NO CRYSTALS ! this was totally amazing and if you were here I would have kissed you.

Today I had to take her to the vet and the vet checked her out and did an ultra sound on her bladder NO STONES! I can not express how happy this has made me to have my little girl back to feeling like she should wanting to play and go for walks and run on the beach. This stuff is amazing.

So many days...at the end of the day..I feel so utterly tired. All day long I talk to people about herbs and the benefits...and its hard...their vet does not believe in them, or they are suspicious of the products because it is the internet..... and on and on and on...

This is from Joy's E-mail about her little rescue Misty.

I'm attaching a picture of Misty. I want her to live because I love her but
I have another reason. I adopted her from our shelter 3 years ago. She was
dropped off in our drop boxes a matted mess and had to be completely shaved,
but she stayed sweet. I'm a volunteer at the shelter and I watched her for
4 weeks in that tiny cage NOT getting adopted. She wouldn't pee in her cage
so the director walked her morning and night. No one wanted her because she
had rotten teeth and she was old. After an adoption event that she didn't
get adopted at, I decided to take her home, foster her and raise money to
get her teeth fixed so she would find a home. Well, it only took a few
minutes to realize this was the sweetest girl who deserves a whole lot more
then life had given her so far. I thought that if someone didn't want to
put money in her teeth they didn't deserve her. We adopted her. We don't
know how old she was then, 8 was the oldest the vet said they could tell.
Her ears were filled with junk and infected, her gums were swollen and
infected so we had to pull some teeth.

Anyway, I've only given her 3 years of a good life. I want her to have
more. Thanks to your herbs, I believe she will! This is a picture I just
took of her tonight - not coughing!! Does she look like a dying dog now?
She did about 2 1/2 weeks ago.

I had to out him to sleep Tuesday, August 25. It was so hard and is still hard, he was the best dog really.

I wish I had started him earlier on your holistic treatments. For I believe the last few months it was those treatments that kept him alive. He developed renal end failure on Monday night and I put him to sleep Tuesday because he could not walk, it was his time. But my heart still aches. Just wanted to let you know a follow-up. I talked to you about my 9 year old lab who had a golfball size bladder stone (struvite urolith) removed in May. She's been on the bladder stone formula at a maintenance dose. Today she had her first UA test since the surgery. I'm thrilled to report no struvite crystals at all and a nice pH of 6.5 (which is exactly what my vet wanted). I'm SO happy and grateful to have found you when I did. The Good Bad & The Ugly

I have to put the bad with the good...it is only fair to the readers....and I just have to comment on this customer's situation and her dissatisfaction

First thing that every ready should know....I post it, I write about it, I talk about it...I DEMAND IT!!! If a canine is depositing fatty lumps...in the majority of times, I can correlate it to a diet that is high in grains or a diet that is of low quality and high in bad fats...like Alpo...or some awful food like that.

Herbs are not magic bullets....IF lifestyle changes are not made...and I write about that extensively on the web page about Dissolve as well as send a full 3 page information packet....those lumps will come back...and the herbs will not have a chance.

In this case, the first thing that came into my mind is that the dog must be eating bad food. Sure enough, she informed me that her Dobie was eating ALPO.....that is the scourge of all dog foods...everyone knows that. It is a food that is cheap and of low quality...

How in the world can herbs...that are the same...fight against the root cause of what makes the fat lumps...BAD FOOD!

The customer says she has no control over what the dog is fed.....People.....the lumps are diet related. You must feed your dog a diet of good quality food...there are not short cuts...they are creatures like us.....who need good quality food...

How come we don't get it?

So let me repeat it again.....A good quality food....no grains rice wheat or barley. Keep your dog trim. No low quality chap foods. A diet of home made food is the best followed by higher end brands of dog food that are made for dogs without grains!!!

Just a quick commentary as promised regarding the progress of our Doberman's ("Apollo") fatty lumps.

Some time last year I ordered the 'Dissolve' formula but we were afraid to try it because of the issues surrounding Chinese imports. Apollo developed a horrific gasping cough, presumably due to one fatty lump on his chest. He'd already had 2 surgeries to remove such lumps but they kept multiplying and we decided no more surgeries.

Out of desperation, we tried your Dissolve and Resolve formula. His lump went from 4" wide and 2" thick to about the size of a golf ball...and his gasping completely disappeared.

Upon completion of that bottle, we ordered more formula; only to find out that your company made it "new and improved". Only one problem, we are blowing through that stuff like water and not only has the chest lump stopped getting smaller...it has grown - back to its original size. So not only have we spent 3x the money, but the formula doesn't work.

Needless to say, we are disappointed in the change and concerned for our precious dog's welfare. Looks like surgery will be the only option unless you reintroduce your old formula. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but we are stopping his dosing immediately, as we cannot understand why the lumps are growing back, some even bigger than the onset.

Please let us know if you decide to bring back the old formula. It worked fabulously and we'd told so many people about it. Now we have no choice but to tell them the "new & improved" is a waste of money and time.

Interesting Story; A Long Stone Journey

This is such an interesting bladder stone story. But first I want to make some comments about it.

Most of the time when we get the call...My dog can't pee! Help...the first question is "Will it dissolve the stones".

That's when I have a hard time answering...because the main idea is to once again promote urination, and in most instances, it will. Now read that I said most instances...in some dogs that have really bad blockages, it won't. But I have to say that most of the time it gives immediate relief....and who knows if it will dossivle the stones...they are suppose to! And they do...but we never know how fast they will work. I have dogs that seem to pass them within days...and then there is this story...

This is a very extereme case of stones...so many stones that they filled her bladder...and they are no breaking down. How cook is that? Very cool to me....

Herbs are so fascinating...

Anyway getting back to this story...and many like it. Once the pooch starts taking the formula they can pee again and the herbs begin their work of dissolving the stones. The size of stones makes the difference as to how long it will take to resolve them.

I have to say that most people are obsessed with getting those stones outta there...I then say...If your dog can pee....and is not obstructed, then what's the problem? (making sure your working with your vet to monitor the situation), because with time, the herbs will do their thing...Here is a story proving my point;

I have to admit after our last vet appointment i was pretty sure that the surgery was unavoidable. I remember the first time i spoke with pawhealer your husband told me to give it six months. We started getting the xrays in November, at which time Sis had ten stones larger than the size of quarters. After the last xray (we did one about every two months) in April, we still had ten stones. I am so very pleased to say tonights xray showed four to five quarter size stones and many, many small stones which we hope she will soon pass. Unhappy Customer; Dissatisfied With Return Policy

My answer to this customer's beef is that herbs are not all things to all people and dogs. We publish are return policy and it clearly states a 20% restocking fee for opened items.

I also have to wonder...why do people think herbs are any different than western medicine or foods? We all react differently to different substances...now if a dog is allergic to beef, does that mean all dogs are allergic to beef? Of course not, the vast majority of dogs can eat the beef.

Secondly, we work really hard here at PawHealer...and I don't understand why anyone would expect that we should give a full return for their pet's difficulty. A 20% restocking fee is extremely fair for a opened product.

Working with herbs is a two way street, I refuse to accept the total responsibility for the problems that a very few dogs may experience. I am happy to refund the product, with a 20% restocking fee if its open, since I have to throw it away.

I haven`t gone on the blog telling the very bad language i received, when i called for support, having a bad experience with your product, that was not my fault, neither one! so why am i going to pay a restocking charge? I can see if it was my fault i would have to pay but. the more people i talk to say it was not. Holly, I wanted to thank you for not only what you do but for giving me more time with my dog Mr. Bradford. You may remember me from September of 2008 with his coughing & collapsed trachea. Saying Good Bye...Mikey

It is with a heavy heart that I bring the sad news of Mikey's passing.
I want to thank you for giving us an extra month with Mikey.

He had so many problems. He stopped eating and would not take his herbs no matter what I did. Regardless, his final demise was caused by an attack of what I believe was pancreatitus. He would not stop vomiting and was passing blood from his anus. We knew it was time. He passed peacefully in his own home with my husband Tom and I by his side.

People demand answers...they want for sure things...but with herbs we really don't know...its the same with people. Every dog reacts differently...The good thing about this is that it in most instances the dog is receiving major benefits.

Ralph is a happy 15 year old rat terrier who lives in Onalaska, Wisconsin. This last winter, he developed a cough and also had trouble breathing.

Meet Nikita...A Big Hearted Dog

What a great dog story! It just makes my heart hurt to read about these two dog friends.....Nikita and Buddy....

I want to make a comment on Nikita's initial response to the herbs...Chinese Medicine acknowledges a pathogenic substance called "phlegm". This substance can lodge in the channels, it can mist the mind, and even lodge into the heart....I think that when Nikita took the herbs...the herbs moved the herbs out, and this was what was causing the problems all along.

Anyway...What a great family...enjoy the read..I did.

Hello Mark and Holly,

Mark asked me to send pictures of our dogs. The big black collie is the dog you are helping with the herbs. And thank goodness you are around to take care of us dog lovers. My black dog is Nikita, and she is a 13 year old mostly border collie mix.

She was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and was coughing and panting a lot. Thankfully we found you guys and received the herbs and the heart cough medicine. The first nite I thought i gave her too much herbs because she had a bad nite. She wet the floor and threw-up really bad, she also acted a little drunk. I was really worried and afraid I had made her worse. By the next day she was better and has been getting better every day. Her cough is much more manageable and even chased the neighbors cat last nite, which I thought she would never do again. She is still sick, but much more comfortable than I thought she would ever be. I love the medicine and only hope to keep making her more comfortable every day.

As I write this she is on the sofa with me and not coughing at all.

The other picture of my smaller dog Buddy who seems to be feeling fine is our adopted dog. One morning at 3 a.m. I let nikita out to go potty, and I thought only one dog would return. Instead two dogs came in the house. The next two weeks we spent a lot of time trying to find his home, unable to do so. We figured someone threw him out because he's a little funny looking :) As it turns out, Buddy worships the ground Nikita walks on. She is the mom and she is in charge. He stays within feet of her 24/7. Also she has loved him in return, washes his face daily and keeps constant figile as to his whereabouts. They are quite the crew and totally completes our family. We are blessed to become grandparents for the first time in July, and I am sure they will receive the new member of the family in fine style because they don't have a mean bone in their body.ha ha!!!

Thank you again for all your help. Your positive attitude that I can hear thru the phone, just encourages me toknow that they will be healthy for as long as the good Lord allows. You guys are the best. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

I want to let everyone know that my shiht-zu of 4 years and 7 months has bladder stones...I first noticed a problem last year in October. Just last week 4/19/09 I had to rush my dog to a 24 hour animal hospital because he looked faint because he couldn't urinate. My dog was 100% clogged with bladder stones. He was quiet, depressed and his bladder was large and firm. In order to make him comfortable they put a urinary cath and flushed his bladder 3 times. He was given some antibiotics just for the temporary relief. I thought that this would be the end of it but to my surprise it wasn't. I was told he needed surgery within 24 hours because he would clog again and this could cause his death. I was in shock. When they told me the cost of the surgery I about fainted $1400 dollars and it needed to be paid all at once. I fell to my knees because I could not afford it. In frenzy, I began to call other Vets and pretty much it was all the same. I came home in tears and distraught in hope to find something for my dog. I began surfing the net for options and I found PAW HEALERS. I read some of the testimonies and I immediately got on the live chat and received a phone call immediately. I was told there was hope and was sent the remedy for Bladder and Kidney Stones. I wasn't sure this was going to work but at this point I had no other choice. I have a 12 lb Silky Yorkie that is 11 years old. We have been to 3 different vets in the last 2 1/2 years trying to discover what was wrong with her. The worst part was we never even got a call back from any of the vets to check to see if he was alright with the meds they gave him.2 of the vet i called to tell them he was haveing trouble with the meds and they still never called back back to check on my baby.i felt like paying them a visit but i have changed my way [getting alittle older will do that]well i got in touch with you guys the meds came the next day you call me 3 or 4 times to see if eeverything was well with milo.YOU TWO FOLKS ARE THE BEST GOD BLESS YOUR HEARTS! Holly here is MILOS Girl. Her name is Breezy! No joke they are in love! If anyone comes near Milo breezy gets her back up untill she knows its alright .Its the cutest thing you ever saw. She kisses him every morning and if they dont see each other first thing they walk around the house with their tails down and their heads hanging.Then when they see each other they are like pups again.Breezy is also 10 years young.She stands 7 ft on her hind legs they are something. Prissy and Einstein...Prissy is the sweet little pooch. Prissy was taking lasix and a bunch of other stuff...We have received an update from Prissy's mom that she is doing much better! Now Einstein, the big guy is getting herbs for heat and rashes and Sherry is telling us that he is sooo much better.

The other day I received not one but 2 requests from a woman that had a problem with her dog...collapsed trachea etc.... She spent 45 minutes discussing the herbs, ordering the herbs and then she had us OVERNIGHT air...all this is alot of work and energy. she had special circumstances and we formulated just for her dog....

Then, the next day I get two pertty insulting a messages that she wants to return them because her group has told her the PawHealer herbs cause side effects and don't work that well. Here is the first one...says that our products have reactions;

I was startled to receive such a message...

My thoughts are this;

1. Shouldn't you have consulted with this group BEFORE ordering? (if there is such a group that is giving us a bad name...)

2. Lets talk about side effects...hello....of course any herbs can cause side effects, each person and each dog are different...food can cause side effects! There is no one in the world that should say that herbs do not have the potential to cause an adverse reaction..HOWEVER in the very vast majority of pets that take herbal remedies this does not occur...AND IF IT DOES....within 6 hours of taking the herbs the symptoms will usually recede. This is the same for people...no different.

Hello people....if you are so afraid of side effect of herbs...then why in the hell do you medicate your dogs to the point of almost death? Don't you think that steroids, inhalers, narcotics to stop cough, multiple vaccinations, monthly flea control all are over dosing your pet?

This just about drives me nuts...How can people call me and discuss side effects when the very reason that they are calling me is usually from the side effects of multiple medications...OMG....Lord Help Me!

3. Lets talk about what works and what does not work...Once again there IS NO SURE THING!!!

But look at our blog...those are just a fraction of the people that have used our coughing formulas? So who are her people and who are these support groups? So she has people that say it didn't work...Well Lady I have people who say it work! geeze....how odd this whole thing was.

Hello people...how can you expect herbs to be any different than modern medicines? We do the best we can...we learn what works for the majority...however yes people sometimes it will not work...IF EVERYTHING Worked all the time we would live forever..

I can tell you this...herbs do have a great efficiency rate, but they are not a magic bullet....they take work and effort, they are more difficult to use than modern medicines...

But yes people in cases where modern medicine has not been able to help, herbs can be an adjunct to your current regime and work better! Or they can't help at all...Plain and simple...

My question is to you people..why do you expect so much more from herbal remedies than from what you get from modern medicine.

Lighten up....don't be afraid...its always worth a try....My suggestion for those who are fearful, use herbs in concert with your veterinarian. Explain to them that you would like to try herbals, and have them monitor your pet right along side with you.

Laverne Walking Again!

This is a great story....and Laverne is one of the Lucky ones...sadly not every dog will have such good results if by chance they use the use of their hind legs.

However...it the vast majority of the instances...the dog will at some level improve. Clearly herbs are worth trying when a dog is down and out...We can never know if it will work...but I have to say more times than not...we are seeing a much improved dog after we create a formula that best fits a particular dog's hind leg weakness pattern.

I would like to tell everyone about the wonderful experience I had for my Shih Tzu Laverne. Researching on line on one web site which connected me to www.Pawhealer.com and Chinese Herbs and their healing powder.

My Vet had given her a cortisone shot which relaxes them and medication that helped for a month and the other option was an operation that might help and $5,000.00. But! I decided to use a natural approach.

Laverne in November was walking and her hind legs collapsed and I found out that Shih Tzu get Intervertebal disc disease. The spinal disc are shaped like donuts and sit between each bony vertebrae for cushion. sometimes these dis can become dislodged after jumping. the disc then pinch the nerve or worse the spinal cord which sometimes result in permanent paralysis if no t immediately corrected.

After e-mailing Laverne's symptoms, Holly called me and we went over everything that was wrong with here in reference to her hind leg weakness. I started on March 5Th giving her the product 3 times a day in her dry food. By the 5Th day she no longer was dragging her hind legs. On the 10Th day she was running and laying on her back and twisting her back in a dancing motion as she always did playing with her Sister's and Brother's.

What I did on the 11Th day is lower the dose to 3 times a day as per the directions. It's like a trial and era you have to use. As the dog got better I give her less. I now give her the herbs 2 times a day. Laverne loved the herbs, and I only gave her about 6-7 piece's of her dry food, sprinkle herbs on top. Every time I pick up the jar she runs toward me and waits to get it in her food.

She even has a dry eye which has cleared up about 80%. I know every experience will be different, and you have to remember to give it time and you will see a wonderful healing process in motion. When our friends came over they were amazed with how laverne recovered, and said, " it's like she is a young puppy with the way she runs around and so much energy".

I wanted to send you a quick note to tell you that after one month on the medicine I bought for our shih tzu Sarge he is SO much better. His constant cough is gone and there is only a bit of coughing a couple of times a day. He is perkier and eating much better. I want to share Mikey's story with you and other visitors to your wonderful site.

My 11 year old Yorkie, Mikey had been slowly failing for weeks. He had stopped barking, running, never jumped up onto the bed any more and on March 25, 2009 he couldn't walk. I had been treating him for diabetes, an enlarged heart and a collapsed trachea with traditional western medicine. That morning I panicked and rushed him to the vet. After 48 hours of intravenous fluids and a $500.00 bill, he came home lifeless. He was diagnosed with kidney failure and severe dehydration. All they offered was more of the same traumatic treatment which I believe almost killed him. Mikey was basically given a death sentence by the vet. When the vet called to ask how he was doing I reported that I thought he was near death. The vet insisted on bringing him back in for more fluids. I said, "No I would rather have him pass at home."

The vet said, "Why, is it a matter of money? Are you giving up on your dog?"

"No," I said, "I'm giving up on you."

While he was in the clinic I began researching his condition and found Pawhealer.com. After completing the health survey for Mikey on the website, Mark called me.
