Meet Fargo.....No More Wasting!

Pinky Pinkerton (herbalist extraordinaries) want to introduce the very hearty Fargo the cat.

Fargo came to the team with wasting disease, which means that although he was hungry, he had a really bad case of diarrhea and weight loss. Fargo had tried all the medicine there was, antibiotics and the steroids and nothing worked for him.

Bowser said Dr. Pink Pinkerton, this is another very mature cat, Fargo is 16 years old. Dr. Pink Pinkerton wants to know what these cats are drinking, he wants to share in their fountain of youth!

So what did the team do for Fargo? We gave him a Yin nourishing formula to help with the emaciation. We gave a second formula to stop the diarrhea, but this was the tricky part, because the formula was for damp heat in the lower burner. Fargo had vacuity heat with excess damp heat.

We are happy to say that Fargo is now fine, the stools firm, and he is on a healing whole food to complete the healing process.

Good job Fargo and Carl (Fargo's person)....

Subject: Fargo's progress

Hi Holly,
I wanted to give you an update on Fargo’s’ progress. As of today he is getting 2 grams of Nourish & 2 grams of GI Care (UC) mixed with his can food twice a day. He is also taking 3 of the Zi pills 3 times a day. I have not as yet received the food supplement we spoke about. As soon as I do I’ll get him started on it. His stools are still formed and he has had a slight weight gain, approximately ¾ of a pound. I’m sure he not out of the woods yet but I do feel his quality of life is greatly improved. We continue to hope for continued improvement & thank you for your continued support.
Meet Fargo

Max The Cat.....No More Loose Stools

Dr. Pink Pinkerton, although he is a dog, does want all of his patients to have a happy herbal outcome.

So none the less, although Max the cat is indeed a cat, Dr. Pink and I checked in on Max to see how his loose still situation was going.

Happy to report that Max has now solid stools...

Good Job Max The Cat!

Hi Holly,

I got your message, not sure why your email to me bounced. Maxx is doing well and the powder has very much helped "solidify" things. I'm happy to have it handy because this happens to him whenever he gets stressed, and he's the nervous sort.

Thanks for checking in!

Sheryl

Max The Cat Has Loose Stools

Dear Dr. Pinky Pinkerton and PawHealer;

There is a request posted by Sheryl

Details My cat has had loose stools for a couple of months. There has been some straining during bowel movements. His eating & activity level haven't changed. He has a sensitive digestion and is emotionally sensitive in general. We have moved 3 times in 6 months, prior to that he had never moved in over 6 years. He recently had dental surgery; quite traumatic. He is noise sensitive, and we now live in a very noisy spot. I am concerned about the loose bowels and am uncertain if it's gastro or stress related.

Dr. Pink Pinkerton spoke with Sheryl and told her we thought Max would do good on a digestive formula that would help to firm up those stools.

We are going to make Max a formula based on the formula sheng ling bai zhu san, and combine it with ping wei san and wu ling san, to drain some of the dampness.
