Coconut Loves Pawhealer Herbal Remedies for Dogs...

"Coconut" has been taking 2 different formulas since last summer. He had bladder stone surgery July 2013. He has had several urinalysis & my vet comments how clear& bacteria free it is ( stones can't form) . "Coconut " started having seizures & put him on calm& compose 2x daily , while he still has a seizure approx. 6 weeks apart they are definitely less severe& intense than before starting him on the herbs . I am so thankful for pawhealers & their herbs vs putting our dog on medicine for the seizures that could cause liver issues! ... I tell all my friends about it!

Thanks to Ann W for her story and sharing it with us.  Coconut has lots of damp/phlegm and heat. Next time Ann orders..we will change the formula to clear more of the damp. I would like to see the tremors, which TCM calls "WIND"...go away completely.  I will add more ban xia and fu ling for Coconut!

Patches and Seizures

Here is a thank you notice from one of our customers.

I have nothing but great things to say about Pawhealers and your herbs. My Paches had numerous seizures monthly for over six years until I found your site. The herbs and change of diet had stopped her seizure completely for over a year and a half. Unfortunately she had to have surgery and was put on an antibiotic, chloramphenicol, that kept her PH from being absorbed. To make a long painful story short, I just wanted to let Mark know that we have lost a baby girl. I blame the doctor and the medication given her. Your natural herbs was the best thing we could have ever done for her. They made the last year of her life seizure free. Thank you all so much. I tell everyone about your site and will continue to do so. Jeanette Boyd Baton Rouge, LA

Griffens Story...Update

We received this updated post from Monica...letting us know how all the changes she has done with Griffin that have helped him get away from having seizures. Through herbs and food therapy Griffin is improving over time; Here is her update...and Griffins link is also posted here to read it...Griffin's Story Link

Holly,
I changed up Griffins diet again, well not really changed just tweaked it a bit. I started feeding him Blue canned food with the herbs, they mix in alot better and he seems to like it he doesnt leave anything in his bowl anymore. Plus he hasnt had a siezure since the new tweak. I hope we are on the right path to his total wellness. But of course he isnt the same without his herbs, so i will continue that indefinentaly. Thank you for checking in us. I hope what i have shared with you may help other owners in feeding with the herbs. Sincerely Your friends Monica and Griffin

Dear Holly,

Just wanted to let you know that after a couple of months on the herbal treatment, Sandy is now free of seizures and I have actually been able to gradually take her off the herbs. She appears to be cured and is so much more alert and happy than when she was taking phenobarbitol! Her appetite has returned and she's actually talking to me again in her cute, strong, barky way....and is jumping off the couch by herself! I would definately start treatment again with your herbal compound if she should show any signs that her problem is returning, but for now, all is well! By the way, the vet was very happy to hear about Sandy's turnaround and was quite amazed and nearly speechless!

Sandy will hopefully celebrate her 19th birthday in May of 2009! I will gladly care for her and protect her until then (and beyond), if that's what the universe has in store for us.....

MANY, MANY THANKS HOLLY & FEEL FREE TO ADD THIS TO SANDY'S POST. I was thrilled that you included her picture & story...(little sister Lucie was excited to see her photo opp. as well!!!)

Kindest regards,
(Human partner to Sandy--'the oldest Westie' I know & dearly LOVE!)

How Baxter Controls Seizures

Dear Dr. Pink Pinkerton and Pawhealer; (this is a happy PawHealer Customer)

I'm completely comfortable with the idea of sprinkling the granules on Baxter's (my Boston) food. To give a Reader's Digest version of his history: He is now 6 yrs old. When he turned 2 he became fear aggressive with no warning and would bite to the bone. I brought in a behaviorist who put him through puppy boot camp behavior modification and saved his life. Around that time he also started with extreme gas, belching, etc. Put him on a very high quality people food and life went on.

We had another BT at the time who developed severe grand mal seizures and went the traditional route with phenobarbital and the heavy salts. Two years later, we had to put him down because the drugs were at such a heavy dose they literally removed any inhibitions in this lovely guy and he would start fights with the others; all this and the meds were no longer functional anyway.

Baxter developed seizures about a year ago. Traditional vet started the routine meds and Bax still had seizures and odd behavior. I, personally, started him on a full raw diet and decided to go the holistic route as we had nothing to lose and everything to gain. Found a wonderful holistic vet who gave him 2 homeopathic doses of belladonna, started him on Calm Repose, as well as magnesium lactate. No more seizures and a complete turnabout in personality. We cannot get over the difference. His coat is gorgeous, he has no awful breath odor, no gassy issues, and is so exceedingly healthy.

Now, have to find a holistic doc for me in the wilds of Buffalo, NY. I've just seen
to many positives from alternative meds.

This is a blog from a dog mom whose dog has eplipsey. The Chinese formula she is referring to is Tian Ma Gou Ting Yin. This formula is known to work very well for dogs with brain function issues.

Thanks for your story Cathy!
