Meet the cutest darn little dog Angel Cakes...the formula Empirical Lung Qi Support for Phlegm Heat and Empirical Heart tonic have been helping this little guy since July of 2009...Angel Cakes...is a sweet little 5lb Pom!!

Many times when dogs have problems with the Lungs they have problems with the heart and visa versa...the beauty of Chinese herbs is that we can provide herbs that match the pattern of the cough..In Angel's case its a loud excess honking cough...therefore we have given Phlegm Heat cough herbs this time to help manage a very serious and chronic condition!

Moral of the blog....even little tiny dogs do GREAT!!!!

What questions about Chinese herbs can we answer for you? Dear Holly, Just wanted to say thank you for all your help and extending my little dogs life as long as you did. Four years ago I was told by our Vet that he would be dead in one year from an enlarged heart. Coho later was diagnosed with a collapsed trachea and we received very little support from the vet on this. That's when I started searching around for other options and found your website. Coho was diagnosed on June 4 with lymphoma in his GI tract and a enlarged liver by June 6 it was in his blood and he died. I miss him very much. Thank you for all the support you gave us and the fast shipping to Alaska. Finding you was and still is a true blessing for all of us animal owners.

Meet Joe; Following Heartwrom Progress

This is Joe....Here is what he is doing per an e mail he sent in response to us following dogs using herbs for worms.......He is working with his vet on the following program: Please note that we always want your dogs vet involved to monitor progress!!! We appreciate it, they appreciate...and we all make sure the dog is making progress....Your dog's well being is of top notch importance in all instances.

"I combined the herbs with a daily treatment of 10mg/kilo BW of Doxcycline plus once weekly Heartguard Plus.  He had about 3 plus weeks of the herb with the weekends clear.  Plan is to get him a blood test in about two weeks.  His Heartworm issue was class 1...no visbile signs.

The doxy and Heartworm is patterned after a slow kill program that seems to work.

He's been off the herb for about a week.  Sorry...but I won't force him to eat the herbs..so I am looking for the capsules as an alternative.  He rejected the herb in broth, canned food and yogurt...all his favorites."

Friends of PawHealer.....ADORABLE

Here we are two rescued retired racing Greyhounds.
Mitch came from a horrible race track in FL where he was very abused. He is our soulful, Zen boy and best watch dog in the world.
Mitch is having a bout with kidney problems. He will be 10 in October.
Kalouha came from a race track in Wisconsin where she was treated much better than Mitch had been. She is our happy go lucky girl who must always have a toy a.k.a. "baby" in her mouth.
Kalouha was just diagnosed with bone cancer. She will be 10 in July.
Thanks for all your care, help and comfort,
Carol, Ben, Mitch & Kalouha

Love Dog Champ Roxy says Thank You PawHealer!

I wanted to take this opportunity and talk about dogs and coughing...there are so many of them that do it now....And something that I try to educate people about is what I believe are to be the root problems.

1) FOOD!!!!  There is no doubt in my mind that bagged processed food no matter how expensive causes digestive weakness as well as muscular skeletal weakness in dogs. Fresh food for living animals is the only way to go. The digestive is the maker of phlegm and the lungs are the holder of phlegm......

2) Over vaccinations...People...your dogs are just like you...they have an acquired immune system...which means that vaccinating them over and over causes harm....the new guidelines that says to re vaccinate every three years is the MINIMUM and they are finding that dogs have life long immunity to Distemper, Parvo, etc......once the body has been exposed or through actually contracting the virus or via immunization...the dog develops life long protection.

There is a great research group that is publishing the findings...Rabies Challenge Fund...

But people...dogs are not different than us...use Titers to check your dogs immunity...look on Jean Dobbs DMV webpage...its everywhere for you to read...she can help you with her lab to do the right thing for your dog...

STOP THE MADNESS....Use common sense...good food, and less invasion to you dogs natural immunity.

Dear Holly and Sebastian,

My 10 year old Chihuahua, Roxy, was having harrowing coughing fits for the third time in 4 years when I found Paw Healer. I didn't want to go the drug route again.

By using an inexpensive dropper from the drug store it took seconds to treat her. I used the same dropper with the syrup without any mess or fuss. The herbs worked within 24 hrs. During the first few days I kept her quite and she slept a lot! But then she was back to her happy self. I continued 3 times a day for 10 days.

On a 10 scale I’d give it a 10. No vet visit, no harsh antibiotics or steroids. There was a recent outbreak of Kennel Cough at the local dog park and I gave her a dose to boost her up and Roxy didn’t picked it up. Thanks Paw Healer for the great customer service and natural remedies for my dog’s health.
