The Story Of Beau and Bladder Stones...OUCH!

Dr. Pinky Pinkerton (herbalist extraordinaries and the handsome host of the blog, his picture is up there on the header) received this inquiry;

Dear Admin,

There is a request posted by julie

Detail Are

Subject kidney stones
Phone No 413245
Best Time to Call morning
Details i have a6yr old bishon that keeps developing kidney stones.what can i give him right know he has 10 stones!!!!the stones are calcium oxolite calculi

Here's the story and this is one of Dr. Pink Pinkerton's very favorites.

Jean's daughter in law made contact with the team. She told us about her mother-in-law's dog, and it was a very sad story.

Beau had had two previous surgeries both for bladder and kidney stones. Each time they took out 5 to 10 stones.....Jean had paid a hefty price for the surgeries.

Jean is a retired nurse and lives on a fixed income....and guess what happened....not 5 months later, Beau had thrown stones again and was bleeding when peeing and he was in so much pain that he would growl when Jean would touch his abdomen.

Poor Beau.....the vet was wanting to do a third surgery. Jeans daughter in law asked that we call Jean....and the team did.

Dr. Pink Pinkerton and I assured Jean that our Chinese herbs for kidney stones would do the trick and Beau would be fine.....Rest assured!

We know that Jean was reluctant at first...but she was desperate, and could not afford a surgery that was being quoted at $5000...ouch.

The team rushed out Beau's order.....guess what...

The team spoke with Jean 10 days later and Beau was out of pain and peeing more normal without blood.

Since then, Beau has been doing great. This Monday Jean goes into have Beau's bladder imaged to see how much the stones have dissolved.

She is confident they are gone....

Jean is a very happy customer. We will keep the blog posted about his results.

Good luck Mr. Beau Dr. Pink Pinkerton and I have our fingers, tail and toes crossed.

Update On The Famous Msssss Daisy

Hi,

Thank You for helping us with Daisy's problem. Daisy has her condition under control, she is 95% better thanks to you. She is acting normal using one gram for breakfast and one gram for dinner. Daisy sleeps all night and so do I.

My question is , how long do I continue this treatment? Is it a lifetime of drugs for Daisy?

I am very happy with the results.

Thank You,

Carl P

The Pawhealer Team, Dr. Pink Pinkerton the handsome fellow and herbalist extraordinaries (his picture is on the header) told Carl that Daisy required a follow up formula to nourish M. Daisy's Yin.

This will take away the last 5% of the cough and Ms. Daisy is set!

We are so thankful that Carl let us be a part of the healing process of the famous Ms. Daisy.

Thank You Carl and Ms. Daisy.

Saying Good Bye....From Colleen

Jeff (this is his link) is struggling....Colleen tells the PawHealer team that his girth has grown to 29 inches.

We suggested that she double the dose of the herbal formula we sent as a last resort. This formula is what they use on people for severe ascities. Dr. Pink and I have our toes, tails and fingers crossed.

Colleen also sent the pawhealer team this story, and since we just lost or wonderful family member Orbit....it made us feel a little better. Here it is;

"I have no way to know who sent it, but there is a beautiful soul working in the dead letter office of the US postal service. Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so she dictated these words:"

Dear God,
Will you please take care of my dog? She died yesterday and is with you in heaven. I miss her very much. I am happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick.I hope you will play with her. She likes to play with balls and to swim. I am sending a picture of her so when you see her. You will know that she is my dog. I really miss her.Love, Meredith.

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey and Meredith and addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it. Then Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope because she said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven. That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office. A few days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter yet. I told her that I thought He had.Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch addressed, 'To Meredith" in an unfamiliar hand. Meredith opened it. Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called, "When a Pet Dies." Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God in its opened envelope. On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey & Meredith and this note:

"Dear Meredith,
Abbey arrived safely in heaven..Having the picture was a big help. I recognized Abbey right away. Abbey isn't sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me just like it stays in your heart. Abbey loved being your dog. Since we don't need our bodies in heaven, I don't have any pockets to keep your picture in, so I am sending it back to you in this little book for you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by. Thank you for the beautiful letter and thank your mother for helping you write it and sending it to me. What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you. I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much. By the way, I'm easy to find, I am wherever there is love. Love, God"

Update on Mugsey

FormulaDr. Pink Pinkerton (the handsome fellow up on the header) and I did our usual follow up on our patients....we received this from Mugsey.

We told Lisa, Mugsey's person, that she needs to increase the dosage. If Mugsey is doing better with only one dose a day....wowser says Dr. Pink Pinkerton...he'll be healed completely if Lisa gets this into him three solid times a day.

We'll keep you posted

HI,

Thanks for asking, I think he is better, some days he seems to be laboring in his breathing but others he seems ok. I still use 1 gram in his food per day. But I haven’t needed to give him any other meds other than an asprin from time to time.

Dixie's Giant Baseball Lump!

Dr. Pink Pinkerton (that handsome fellow on the header of the blog, and herbalist extraordinaries) received a chat on line from Jan, Dixie's person.

She was asking if our formula Dissolve All Over would help with a softball size Lipoma that Dixie had and which was located on her hind quarter.

That's a pretty big Lipoma. Of course you never know in a situation like this, but in my opinion I would of tried anything. Surgery should be the last resort. Because the key with this type of thing is to get to the "root" and to try to stop what is causing it to form.

Lipomas are an inflammation, plain and simple. Surgery can't cut out a system problem such as this.

Anyway, the good news is that Dixie feels better!

Holly,

I spoke to you about a week ago about our 10 year old sheltie, Dixie. She is improving daily on your herbs. We know that it is early to tell, but both Jim and I have massaged the lipoma and it is much less tight and hot.

We made capsules out of the herbs and it makes it easier to give to her with cheese. We are so delighted and so HOPEFUL. She is better than she has been for six months. YOU ARE THE BEST!!! Wish you lived here.

You talked with Jim the other day and are fixing up some herbs for him.

I am currently on Amlodipine/Benazepril 10/20 mgs daily for high blood pressure and Estradiol 1 mg daily. Any suggestions for me. If I were to switch to herbs, how do I go about it?

Both Jim and I are body builders and are not overweight and try to eat sensibly.

You are wonderful. Thank you for your help.

Jeff's Progress...Thursday April 17th

Dr. Pink and I (the handsome fellow in the header) received this update about Jeff today. (read about Jeff) Yesterday we had increased his dosage of Zhen Wu Tang to a full scoop in the morning and at the night. It had an impact...Or should we say, a depact?

Because Jeff has diarrhea, we are asking that he stop the herbs until things harden back up and then we start again, with a reduced amount.

Jeff has a huge amount of accumulation around the middle, his girth is at whopping 28 inches. This is from the ascities due to congestive heart failure. It is our treatment goal to reduce this so that Jeff can breath easier.

Here is Colleen's daily report to the PawHealer team;

: Colleen
Date: 4/17/2008 6:35:08 AM
To: PawHealer
Subject: Update

Good morning Holly & Dr. Pink,

I switched the Z remedy to 1 full scoop last evening. Jeff only had cooked turkey throughout the day, and a couple of baby-food meat stix (like little hot dogs, but without the fillers, etc.) as a treat for taking his remedies.

Around 10:30 last night he was just settling in and I gave him some water. He lapped it right up, and completely, but then got down from the bed and asked to go outside. He immediately puked up the water, had diarrhea and peed before coming back in. He woke up in the night to go outside to pee and had diarrhea each time. He started around midnight, then again at approximately 2:30, and 4:00, approximately. Then he slept right through until around 7:30, when I took him out again, and he just peed.

When I gave him his morning remedy (W), he "escaped" to the back bedroom to hide from me. (I can just hear him in my head, 'you'll never catch me for the next dose!')

He also had a bout of diarrhea in the back of the house (inside) while we were out earlier, around dinnertime, which I know was really tough for him because he never, never goes in the house. I had given him the increased (Z) remedy about 20 minutes before we had to leave. I regret that we did not wait to do this until after our return, but we were going to be gone until around 9 pm.

My concerns (beyond his hopeful improvement) also relate to our varying schedules. I don't want to limit the amount of times I can give him the two remedies because of the fact that no one will be home to let him out if he has to go. I'm doing my best to keep it as regular as possible, but we have missed a dose or two. I've gotten the hang of the dropper and keep it as calm and swift as I can, given his resistance. Between my husband, son and me, we are able to keep an eye on him most of the day and night, but there are periods of time when no one can be there for a few hours.

Girth measurement remains at 28" today.

I am currently keeping an eye on his water intake and his desire to drink water. I think I am seeing a decreased volume overall, but I'll have to watch a little longer to be sure.

Meet Jeff....Working to Improve His Heart

Dr. Pink Pinkerton and I received a request from Jeff's person Colleen. Poor Jeff has congestive heart failure and it's causing Jeff to have ascities, which is water retention withing the abdomen.

Ascites is excess fluid in the space between the tissues lining the abdomen and abdominal organs (the peritoneal cavity).

Colleen (Jeff's person) whats Jeff to be more comfortable because he has been miserable. The main symptom of course is the very hard and rounded stomach due to this water accumulation.

The other symptom that Colleen wanted to address is that Jeff constantly has to pee. Also he has no stamina and gets tired very easily.

Dr. Pink Pinkerton, the herbalist extraordinarie, where very happy to work with Colleen and Jeff.

Our Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis is Heart , Kidney and Spleen Yang vacuity with water flooding pattern.

This called for the treatment principle to fortify the Spleen and warm the Kidneys, free the flow of Yang and disinhibit water.

We used the formulas Zhen Wu Tang (True Warrior Decoction ) and Wu Ling San in order to accomplish these goal.

Coleen is wonderful about giving the Dr. Pink Pinkerton and The Pawhealer updates, we will continue to post them as we receive them.

Dr. Pink Pinkerton, although he is a dog, does want all of his patients to have a happy herbal outcome.

So none the less, although Max the cat is indeed a cat, Dr. Pink and I checked in on Max to see how his loose still situation was going.

Happy to report that Max has now solid stools...

Good Job Max The Cat!

Hi Holly,

I got your message, not sure why your email to me bounced. Maxx is doing well and the powder has very much helped "solidify" things. I'm happy to have it handy because this happens to him whenever he gets stressed, and he's the nervous sort.

Thanks for checking in!

Mugsy In MA......

Dr. Pink Pinkerton, herbalist extraordinare would like to introduce Mugsy, here is his story....Of course the team will be updating this post as we learn of his progress.

Hi Holly,

I received your product today thanks for shipping so quickly.

Suggestion, let people know that the little spoon is 1gram. I assumed but others might not know that.

Attached is a picture of Mugsey, he is 15 lbs and 12 years young. I was told two years ago that he had a heart murmur and a partially collapsed trachea only because I brought him to the vet for another problem. I gave him one gram tonight and will give to him three times daily for the next few days as instructed. Hint: I melted some cheese in the microwave and mixed the powder in the softened cheese, he gobbled it up. At least that way I was sure he took the whole dose.

I will keep you updated on his progress thanks again for your quick response,,, good luck on your finals.

Introducing Mssss. Daisy

Dr. Pink Pinkerton and I were informed the very first time I spoke to Daisy's person, that she was a very famous dog, she had been on TV....

Ms. Daisy has a cough, not sure if it is a Collapsed Trachea cough, but none the less, it has been a problem.

She is doing MUCH better;

Dr. Pink Pinkerton and I are amazed at her beauty and we are so happy she is feeling better.

Daisy had a very goodnight, it was the first in weeks. I am doing one and one half grams four times a day. One dose every six hours. The heavy coughing has shortened and less severe. She can go hours with no problems. If it continues I will go with four hours.
Thanks

I just reread this, try it every four hours. We want to really get at that heat!

Hi,
Daisy is still having problems but we feel the more she takes the medicine the less hacking. I have found that giving her one gram mixed with honey every six hours works best. When she has a breating attack it lasts only a few minutes.
I think she has control over hacking for food. Everytime David or I go into the kitchen Daisy follows with an attack. Daisy also is able to go hours without any problem but once she gets nervious or physical she starts hacking. If I shout at her to go lay down she is able to stop. I feel she has control of her problem but using it for attention.
If it continues until Wednesday, I will call the vet for an x-ray.
Thank You and I will keep you up to date.

Update on Snoop Dog's Wheezing

I did my follow up today with Snoop Dog...he has a pretty heavy wheezing formula and Dr. Pink Pinkerton and I wanted to know how Snoop was doing.

Deanna says Snoop Dog is doing better, but the herbs are upsetting his stomach.

Dr. Pink and I wrote back to Deanna that Snoop Dog needs to get on a formula to now treat the root problem of the wheezing, because he no longer in an acute situation.

They are taking him off the Cortisone and the herbs have helped him do this.

But now its time to put him on tonics to deal with the root problem.

I hope Deanna follows through with this, because the wheezing herbs are bitter and cold...it's probably really giving him a stomach ache.

Now he can breath, but I'm sure he has a stomach ache and I've heard he farts alot...Oh no!

The only thing it seems to upset his stomach a little as I'm having a little trouble getting him to eat the food w/ the powder mixed.

Meet Savannah....The Love Of Her Mother's Life

This is Savannah, when I spoke with Catherine her dog mom, that was how she introduced Savannah to Dr. Pink Pinkerton and me, "The Lover Of Her Life".

Savannah has just been diagnosed with a Collapsed Trachea...this is following a couple of respiratory infections....

I am getting so many inquires for this disease, and most of the dogs have had some sort of infection prior to the diagnosis of Collapsed Trachea.

These are the things that make ya go Hmmmmmmm.

Dr. Pink Pinkerton and I will keep you updated as we hear how this very precious sweet pea does with the formulas.

Update On Peeks The Cat...

Dr. Pink and I received this update from Peeks family....We thought we would share it

Hi Holly,
Lesandre here - thanks you enquiring about Peeks, he appreciates it! :0)
Yes we started the herbs Thurs. night last week. He is getting 1/4 gram 3x a day and eating it just fine. We'll increase it to 1/2 gram 3x a day this coming Friday.
Re his appetite, Holly, he has been on the methimazole for 2 wks now and his constant demands for food have diminished, also he is sleeping more. (Before, he was always camped out in the kitchen waiting for more food.) So it's hard to tell what the TCM medicine is doing at this point, but our faith is with that and we want to get him off the mainstream meds by 3 months.

It's wonderful that your babies recovered with your formulas.
That's a great picture of you btw on your website

Bad Case Of Wheezing; Meet Snoop Dog!

The PawHealer team has been working with Snoop Dog...he's only 18 months old. The wheezing formula is working for him, getting him off the predisone.

We have sent out a second batch to Deanna for Snoop Dog, but there is some concern here. Snoop has really bad wheezing, and regardless if its Predisone or the herbs, these medicinals are hard on the stomach.

So, the PawHealer team, me and Dr. Pink, have been researching solutions for a formula that can be used for a long term solution along with a strong anti wheezing effect.

The PawHealer is in the middle of finals for school and has been really busy! We have many dog and cat friends we will be adding to our blog once the semester has ended.

THANK GOODNESS! The PawHealer is tired to say the least....

Subject: HI!

Hi Dr. Pink Pinkerton and PawHealer!!

Just want you to know your formula seems to be working for my little Snoop Dog a 15lb Boston Terrier. He is only 1.5 years old and was diagnosed w/ collapsing trachea at the very bottom where it splits.

Anyway, they have him on Prednisone, Lomotil, & Aminophylline. They are insisting to get him off prednisone which I know why but when he is off he absolutely cannot breathe and is gasping for air.
I received your package yesterday after I already had given the prednisone but I didn't give him the other 2 meds.

This morning I decided not to give the Prednisone and instead I used the wheezing formula first, then the cough formula.
He has alot more trouble with wheezing than coughing. Any suggestions? I'm really hoping this helps him get off the meds. Is there any side effects?
Thanks
