I have a 12 lb Silky Yorkie that is 11 years old. We have been to 3 different vets in the last 2 1/2 years trying to discover what was wrong with her. She had a persistant cough that shook her entire body. They thought it was kennel cough and gave her meds. Then they thought it was a collapsed trachea and then they thought it was bronchitis.
